Solution:

Step 1: Delta from slope = (y2 – y1) / (x2 – x1)

(2,4) (5,7) – (x1,y1) (x2, y2)

Step 2: Slope = (7 – 4) / (5 – 2)

= (3) / (3)

Δy / Δx = 1
